What is a Death Doula?
A Death Doula is a non-medical role that provides support, options and education assisting the dying and those around them have their end of life unfold in alignment with their wishes, to preserve the quality of life, well being and self-worth up to and beyond the end of life as we know it.They are the “informed companion” bringing comfort, support, compassion, and assist a person and their family in feeling safe and supported during this important transition.

A Bereavement Doula provides emotional, physical and informational support to family’s experiencing loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, fatal diagnoses, neonatal loss – where birth meets bereavement.
You are not alone in you journey, there are many ways that i can support you, below are some ideas but please do reach out for what ever you feel you need and i will do my best
supporting you/your partner through the birth of your baby
holding space for you
collecting/organising keepsakes
lactation services
i will hold your hand, listen to your story, be your shoulder to cry on
be able to communicate with close loved ones about how they can best support you
provide resources and connect you with support groups
help with organising ceremony/funeral
provide in home support such as cooking meals, tidying up, lactation support
This can all be personalised for you with the things you wish to have support with

When someone you love dies some people feel like they wish to be able share but often are not given the opportunity or given the spare to share entirely, freely and openly
Debrief your, shock, anger, sadness , fear, physical symptoms or tell your story from start to finnish.
